Is Surgery Needed For The Dislocation And Relocation Of Shoulder Blades?

Hi, My shoulder joint got dislocated in 2002, since then i am facing problem of dislocation & relocation, but yesterday, i felt the pain and it was dislocated for about 45 min,the pain is still thr , do u think i need to get operated or is there some other way out
