Is Surgery Possible To Cure Protruding Upper Sternum Caused After An Injury?

Hi I had a huge fall at the age of 11 years, landed on my bottom and was severely winded at the time. As I grew up I noticed my sternum clicked in and out but as I got older this area fused and has resulted in this general area seizing up. I've been to a chiropractor who reckons the normal growth of bones following my accident has probably lead to the protruding upper sternum and to tensions from the sternum through the ribs to the back. Commonly I have protruding pains through the back rib-cage through to the front of my body. While deep-tissuer massage and chiro help I wonder if there's any surgery that can relieve the tension? I suspect the additional growth that has taken place in my bones has created a local tension spot that is not helping. Any suggestions welcomed
