CM differential is normal. Kindly suggest do we need to go for surgery or it can be cured by medicines?
Thanks for asking at Healthcare Magic. I read your question and I understand your concern. Kidney stones treatment depends upon size and number of stones. if size is 5 mm or less than it can be treated with medicines. However some literatures have reported upto 6mm. I would suggest that it would be treated with medicines. All that you have to do is to take plenty of water 8-12 glasses per day; passing almost more than 2. 5 liters urine. Avoid oxalate rich foods like spinach, beet, low Sodium and sugar low proteins. Take antibiotics and cranberry juice to avoid infections. Another option would ECSWL if stones after one month conservative management. However if the stones was increasing in size or hydronephrosis and hydroureter was getting worse than surgical option would be best to avoid renal failure. Repeat ultrasound after one month and let your doctor see the report. Hope it helps best. Don't forget to rate this answer and close the discussion at Healthcare Magic. Take your best care.
