Is Surgical Removal Of Stone From Spleen Advisable For A Diabetic Patient?

hello My mother has been told by the doctor that she has stone in her spleen which can be removed through surgery but the problem is that she is a patient of high blood sugar since last 20 years and according to sugar specialists she wont be able to survive through anesthesia for the surgery. I am seeking your advice in these circumstances as my mother has constant pain and inflammation in her spleen. Regards Manan

I would like to clarify a few things.
1) does she have any other health issues such as being overweight /obese, heart disease, hypertension, clotting disorders, kidney or liver problem?
2)how old is she and how long does she have diabetes?
3)are her sugars under control with medications?
4)how big is the stone and can it removed laparoscopically (minimally invasive surgery?
