Is Swelling And Wound In Cervical Head A Symptom Of Cancer?

I ABORT TWO MONTH PREGNANCY ,DR ,TOLD ME THAT THERE IS SOME SWELLING AND WOUND IN MY CERVICAL HEAD WITH INFLAMATION ,AFTER A WEEK OF TREATENT I HAVE RECHEKED BY MY DOCTOR SHE HAS PRISCRIBED SOME MEDICINS AND ASK ME FOR RECHECKUP AFTER MENSES, THOUGH ,SOME REDISH DISCARG,SHE SAID IT BDUE TO INFECTION OR MAY BE DUE TO CERVICAL CANCER. DR PL.TEL ME ABOUT WHAT TO DO NOW.

Hello dear,I understand your concern.In my opinion inflammation and swelling over cervix is seen in cervicitis ie.,inflammation of cervix or pelvic inflammatory disease(PID) .It doesn't definitely mean cancer.The confirmation can be done by cervical biopsy.You might need a course of antibiotics and then go for biopsy.So regarding this with your doctor.
