I then took Benadryl but I broke it in half and took one at 2 then another at 4 and then when I woke up the swelling went down some but my lip is still kinda swollen and so is my forehead. I also have braces too. but idk what caused this to happen I think it's the ibraprophen
You seem to have developed an allergic skin reaction to ibuprofen. Firstly, you should avoid taking this drug in future also. Now since you had developed angioedema which is a serious kind of drug reaction, i would advise you to take a regular course of antihistamines for few days till the time the drug is completely eliminated from the body. You can see a nearby dermatologist for the same.

Is Swelling In Upper Lip, Forehead And Eyes Likely To Subside By Taking Ibuprofen And Benadryl?
Hi, Thanks for writing your query. After reading your post, it seems that your symptoms are due to allergic reaction to ibuprofen. You should not take it again. I would like to advise that you should seek urgent medical attention to stop further allergic reaction. You may need a steroid injection to cure the allergic reaction. Antihistamine like Fexofenadine 180 mg once a day for at least 3 days will be helpful. I hope this is helpful to you. Thanks.
