Is Swelling Of Lymph Nodes On The Thyroid A Matter Of Concern?

hi about a month ago I was dx with mono....md also did an ultra sound of my thyroid and neck area because I was complaining about swollen left side of my neck. She also did a chest xray and a mammogram. All tests came back normal aside from the fact that a few swollen lymph nodes appeared on the thryoid ultrasound. She wanted to give it 6 weeks then do a repeat ultrsound. My issue is that the swelling is not going down and is very very concerning to me. Some days it doesnt bother me much at all and then some days its really scary. she said she would do a ct scan if the nodes were still showing but im feeling like I want the ct scan now and skip the ultrasound. any ideas?
