Is Swelling Of Shoulder After Undergoing Rotator Cuff Surgery Normal?

Ten weeks ago I had rotator cuff surgery on my left shoulder. After 7 1/2 weeks i developed a swollen tennis ball size lump on my left elbow and my left ankle started to swell. There is no pain, heat or redness associated with either site but I did have a red rash under the skin above my left ankle which went away after two days. The swelling is not as bad in the morning, my shoe still fits fine and there is no swelling in my left hand, only in the outside of the elbow.
