Is Swollen Breast And Hot Flushes Sign Of Pregnancy?

hi i was admitted into hospital on the 21st sep having severe right IF pain and heavy PV bleeding.... i have an USS which confirmed a very small cyst burst on my ovary and i was later sent home. the bleeding only lasted 2 days and me and my partner started having sex again on the 24th, but since the 30th i have been getting; very sore and swollen breasts, hot flushes, extreame tiredness, back and leg pain and abdo bloating.... i have just done a pregnancy test which was neg.... whats going on? i feel so run down... many thanks

Hi,
In the current scenario, you should either wait for your next natural period to set in( if you are regular with your cycles ) and go for a home pregnancy test 3-7 days later with a fresh early morning sample of urine or go for an assessment of the serum beta-hCG titres now for an earlier and better confirmation. Your symptoms can be had with very early pregnancy or also during the premenstrual phase and hence need confirmatory evidence. a clinical evaluation by a specialist and a trans-vaginal sonogram a week after the missed period are most useful.
