Is that normal or should I be concerned? I didn t know if it was normal because she just got stitches 2 days ago. Please get back to me asap. Thank you

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
It seems that there might be having formation of big hematoma due to injury.
Another possibility of having some infection in stitch area giving rise this swelling.
She might be on some antibiotic medicine and anti-inflammatory syrup, if not then she might require.
Apply ice pack 2-3 times a days for 2-3 days.
If require go for dressing done by your treating doctor.
Ok and take care.
