Is Swollen Lymph Node Behind Ear With Lung Cancer A Causes For Concern?
I have a swollen (very painful) lymph node behind my left ear. My Oncologist s Nurse referred me to my General Practioner. After she looked at it she said to go home and take Advil or Tylenol and warm compresses. It is so very painful. I have stage IV cancer spread into my lungs. Is this really something that I have to take two asprin and go to bed with?
Hi. Thanks for your query. Read and understood your concerns. Sorry to know that you are suffering from stage IV lung cancer. This swelling behind the ear may be or may not be a cancer, if it is there, it will be taken care of by the chemotherapy you must already be taking . You can insist for FNAC of this swelling just to know.
