Is Swollen, Painful Ear With Huge Pressure Build Up A Cause For Concern?

Severe pain in left ear. It s swollen, dry (no ear wax) and feels like a huge pressure built up inside. Should I see a doctor? I occasionally have a blocked left ear, caused by ear wax, but I have never felt anything like this. Sweden 01:42, can t sleep.

Well I think you are having infections of your Ear. If neglected it can cause serious problems , the worst being spread of infection to Brain.

My strong recommendation to you is to consult your doctor and get examined . You might even require Antibiotic course.

Till then do salt water gargling 3-4 times a day, drink hot water , eat less oily food and avoid non veg food.
