Is Swollen Purple Mark Near Genitals A Symptom Of STD?
About 2 months ago a purple raised mark appeared at the crease between my leg and pubic hair. It hasn't gone away and seems to be slightly swollen. My partner has had the same thing in the same spot for years. What could it be? Is it an STD? Is it treatable? Can it be cured or just managed?

From your history and description, I would consider the diagnosis of a fungal infection called tinea cruris.
It could spread from one person to another.
You can treat it with a cream containing 1 % clotrimazole applied twice a day for 2-3 weeks. You may also need oral fluconazole depending on the severity. Please get it prescribed by your doctor.
It is not a sexually transmitted disease.
