Is Synthroid Effective In Managing Thyroid After Thyroid Removal?

Yes, I had my thyroid removed 2 years ago. The endos cannot get my meds correct. They just switched me from the name brand synthroid to the generic. I feel shaky, and nervous. I have been reading that generics are filled with fillers. Should i go back to synthroid name brand.

The problem with not only endocrinologist but also with other physicians is thFirst you should get a proper diagnosis of hypothyroidism
You have to do all 6 tests which is never done even by specialist doctors
Do
TSH ,
FREE T4
FREE T3 ,
REVERSE T3 ,
REVERSE T4
TPO and TG antibody titre before starting any medication for Hypothyroidism .
Do also a ULTRASOUND OF YOUR THYROID
T4 is not the active hormone
T3 is the active hormone
T4 has to get converted to T3 which requires adequate stores of
Iodine , Iron , zinc , B12 and Selenium
dont use any fluoride toothpaste .It will displace Iodine needed for making thyroid hormones
otherwise T4 or eltroxin will not work
do the right tests and go to the right doctor to get the right treatment
at they dont do the right tests and the right medication for thyroid disease.
Search for a functional medicine doctor .They will help you to fix your issue.
Hope this was useful to you.
