Is Taking 60 Mg Of Iron Twice Daily Too Much Given My Slightly Low Iron Level?

Hi i did some blood work and the Dr have told me the iron is a tad low, he gave me iron pill of 60 mg twice daily, i have concerns that 60 mg twice a day is a lot, here are the blood count report Iron 9.98 umol/l Ferritin 86.73 ng/ml RBC 4.86 x 10 6/ul HGB 13.5 g/dL HCT 38.7 % MCV 79.6 fl MCH 27.8 pg MCHC 34.9 g/dL RDW CV 13.7 %
