Is Taking Bactrim And Clindamycin Advisable To Treat An Infected Boil?

Hi I have a boil that seen me to be infected and went to the er and was given Bactrim and clindamycin can they both be taken at the same time also it was packed and the packing can out on its on I covered it up but should I go back to the er for stitches

Hello,

Infected boils should be kept open and the wound should not be closed. As of now continue antibiotics. Once the wound healed we can plan to suture if required.
