Is Taking Benazepril And Hydrochlorothiazide Together Safe?

Is it okay for me to take benazepril 40 mg and a 25 mg hydrochlorothiazide pill? I have been having some blood pressure issues and wanted to know if it is safe for me to take both of these prescriptions at the same time in the morning. My doctor just changed my meds. Thanks
