Is Taking Cepodem Advisable For Lactating Mother?

Hi Sir,My wife and i had our first baby about 5 months ago. The baby is feeding purely on his mothers milk as on date. She picked up a throat infection and her physician prescribed 'augmentin' as the antibiotic. The throat infection returned after a week and this time the physician requested us to go to an ENT specialist. The ENT specialist reviews and confirmed that she had a sever infection and prescribed cepodem xp 325. Is this advisable in lactating and feeding mothers and what are side effects of this especially on the infant. Please share your opinion.
