Is Taking Diclofenac Safe For Pain In Lower Abdomen And Frequent Urination?

My 24 year son was just prescribed Diclofenac Sodium for pain in his lower stomach area. He took two rounds of antibiotics for a supposed UTI. He complains of frequent urination still. Blood was drawn today, no results yet. Is this a common drug for these symptoms?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Diclophenac tablet is for pain and gives temporary relief from pain.
This is not the solution of problem.
Consult your doctor for UTI problem and get it diagnosed as it is not responded with antibiotics.
He might require urine culture to know type of bacteria causing this problem and antibiotic sensitive to it.
Mean while give Diclophenac medicine with some antacid.
Ok and take care.
