Is Taking Evening Primrose Oil Safe For Treatment For PCOS?

I am 29 yrs old and married..i have been trying to have a babe for years. i have a very irregular menses for many years and sometimes i miss my period up to 3-8 months, my body weight was drastically increase over the years.. my OBG Dr says i have POCS which was only conform last week via TVS.. i was devastated with the news.. a friend of mine suggest me to take EPO, Evening Primrose Oil.. is it ok for me to take it as a daily supplement since it is still an "oil" base? , won't it makes my cyst getting bigger or multiple in numbers..?
