Formeterol may interfere with the uterine contractions during delivery while budesonide may effect the baby and cause some related effects but both of these are very rare and if your wife has asthma symptoms it is important that she gets treated because asthma can be dangerous without treatment. So in all recommendations it says we have to use them if benefit outweighs the risks. In asthma treating asthma outweights the risks of side effects in this case. Another recommendation would be to see a lung doctor (pneumologist) which can evaluate you and diagnose asthma, the type and severity and decide what kind of treatment would be best in your case, taking in consideration that you are pregnant.
