Is Taking Lemsip For Blocked Sinuses Safe While On Ramipril?

My wife has a nasty cold with blocked sinuses. she is on Ramipril 10mg for high blood pressure, which is now well controlled (checked last week) She likes to take lemsip for her sinus but the pharmasist said that this would not be safe due to the decongestant it contains. What is the risk? would it be ok for her to take lemsip? Is there another decongestant which would help?
