Is Taking Minipres And Plagerine Safe Before An Angiogram?

61,173,174,getting treatment for HP since 15 years. diabetic taking novo mix 20ml in the morning 10 at night.medicines for HP angizaar 50,angizaar h, concor 5,minipres xl5 and recently taking tablet plagerine 75mg,going to under go angiogram on 14th september.

HI welcome TO HCM.
Antihypertensive drugs are routinely prescribed to all patients undergoing angiogram as a part of reducing the bleeding complications.This will not pose any new health issues nor will cause any difficulty for the angiogram procedure.Both Minipress and Plagerine are absolutely safe before the vascular access for angiography.Consult your cardiologist for further queries.
