Is Taking Paracetamol Safe For Migraine Headache?

Hi, I am a migraine patient for around 8-10 years. From last 3 years I get migraine I started getting migraine headache more frequently like 2-3 times a week. Some of my migraine triggers includes: perfume smell weather change hunger more sleep hrs stress/crying extreme weather I normally gets pain behind my eye, mostly on the left side and sometimes on the right. But strangely, from last 6 weeks the pattern is changed. Now I get migraine everyday. Sometimes it starts around 9-10 when I start my work (IT professional) and sometimes it is already there when I wake up. So it is there even if there is no trigger and the intensity varies everyday. Mostly it is between mild and moderate and I feel better within 4-5 hrs without taking any medication. But some days it is quiet severe and I take 2 panadols that gives me some relief. I have couple of questions: 1 I am taking around 2 panadols (paracetamol) atleast 3 times a week i.e min 6 tablets per week. Is this medicine really safe? Can I continue taking it my whole life? 2 Why the pattern is so changed? Do I have to live like that? Is there no permanent solution to this?

Thanks for your query, I have gone through your query.
The migraine can be treated with di hydro ergotamine rather than paracetamol. Chronic use of paracetamol can lead to liver problems. I advise you to consult a neurophysician and get yourself evaluated. You might have to get some investigations done like MRI to rule out any intracranial lesions. There is no permanent solution for it.
I hope my answer will help you, take care.
