Is Taking Shatavari Ayurvedic Medicine Safe For Delay In Conception?
Hi Dr, I am female 27 years old. Currently i am trying to have baby for around 7 months but no result . My period is not regular and was diagnosed pcos. I read the review on the internet, shatavari might help because it nourishes the worm and ovulation, and one suggestion is that take shatavari only from day of period till ovulation day, aftee that stopping taking shatavari due to the eggs need to be warm, shatavari has cooling property. Please Dr are those info right? How do i take shatavari if my period is not regular? Is it ok if i take shatavari with western medicine ( yesterday i went to dr to check, although my period over is for 10 days but dr said my ovary is small only 10mm) Thank you Dr
I can understand your concern. As you are suffering from PCOS, you need hormonal supplements to resolve in your ovaries, regulate ovulation and make menstrual cycles regular.
Even though Shatavari claims to help female reproductive system, there is no mention if ability to regulate imbalanced hormones and making menstrual cycles regular.
Thus, if you are trying to conceive, I would advise you to visit a gynecologist and start with hormone replacement therapy.
I hope this information helps you. Thank you for choosing HealthcareMagic. I wish you good health!
Best, Dr. Viraj Shah
