Is Taking Susten From First Day Of IUI Safe?

hi i am from secunderabad i had iui on 16th may of 2010 doc prescribed me some medicine from the day and susten 8% vaginal on 20th of may 2010 but along with other medicines i started the susten also from the same day of iui is there any harm with that or any other failure results will be in my iui please reply me
