Is Taking TIFFA Scan During Pregnancy Safe?
Hi, My wife is around 20 weeks pregnent and doctor advised for TIFFA scan. is it safe to take the TIFFA scan now, in earlier ULTRASOUND scannings, there were no anomalies found at 12- 14 weeks age. Please kindly advise me what is the better time to go for TIFFA

TIFFA scan is the important scan of second trimester .
It is performed between 18-23 weeks and it is called fetal anomaly scan or TIFFA (targeted imaging for fetal anomalies).
She should do TIFFA scan even thought her 12-14 weeks scan was normal.
Dont worry for the scan because it dont damage baby or your wife .
