Is Taking Vicodin Safe While On Xarelto For Pain In Chest And Shoulder?
Hi, I have idiopathic dilated cardiomyopathy and I am experiencing a lot of pain in my chest, shoulder area, mostly when I breathe in. I would like to take vicodin for the pain, but want to be sure this is okay. The pain is new and I am Xarelto, wondering if there is a correlation?

The chest pain could be from a pulmonary embolus but that would be very unlikely since you're taking Xarelto.
That said, it should be safe for you to take the Vicodin
