Is Taking Zyrcold And Ascoril Effective In Treatment Of Severe Cough?

My daughter is having severe cough as per the doc she is having bronchiolitis,we have already given maxtra & kufril drops but not much relief ,my doc has suggested Zyrcold(3ml 2 times/day) alongwith Ascoril LS(3ml/5times/day),can you please advise is the treatment given fine enough?

I can understand your concern.
No these drugs are not enough for complete recovery.
Bronchiolitis is inflammation of small airways.
It is commonly due to infections.
And this inflammation causes bronchospasm.
So patient needs antibiotic (for infection), anti inflammatory drugs and inhaled bronchodilators (for bronchospasm).
She is not receiving these drugs. So better to consult pediatrician and discuss all these and start appropriate treatment.
