Is Taking Cetrizine Safe During Second Trimester?

Hi is cetrizine safe for second trimester?or can i take Clarityn(10 mg) Loratadine. Pls prescribe dosage. I am in my second trimester and i have got recurring rashes all over on my face, neck, hands, legs and back, around 20 and this is the fifth time so far. PL advise. Thanks

Hi.don't worry. Yes ceterizine is safe during pregnancy. If I would be your doctor then would like to add calamine lotion for local application for your rashes.as this medicine is given on prescription please talk to your local doctor for the same.
