Is Taking Fol-5, One Tablet Recommended During 7 Weeks Of Pregnancy?
i am 7.5 weeks pregnant and last week my doctor advised me to take FOL-5 tablet.
i googled that 4mcg tablet is sufficient for normal ladies and 5 will be excess. Also this is my first pregnancy, 10 months before i've gone through MTP procedure as i didn't want to be pregnant that time.
is it secure to take FOL-5 one tablet each day?

Hi, its ok take folic acid 5 mg its safe not going to harm baby at all.
folic acid prevent neural tube defect in baby and its water soluble vitamin excess get excreted in urine .
