Is Taking Misoprostol Vaginally Effective?

i am ving 39 days of pregnency.i took one t of mifepristone 200mg two days back.today morning i started to bleed.my doc told to take two t.of misoprostol 200mcg in two hrs intervel.but it is written for vaginal use.will it be effective?it is sold under the trade name MTPROST kit by CIPLA.thanks
