Is Taking One Natazia Pill Continued With Ortho Pill Safe?

I cannot get my birth control refilled until Monday. I am taking Ortho Tri Cyclen Lo. I have another sample pack of Natazia. If i took the first Natazia pill tomorrow is it safe to continue taking the 2nd normal Ortho pill on Monday. Or do I just double up on Monday? Is one way safer or am I more protected?

Hi,

As you are on Tri-Cyclen Lo and want to continue that from Monday, the better options are:
- Start Tri-Cyclen Lo from Monday and use additional contraceptive method like barrier contraception for one week, this will give effective protection.
- As you said you can take two pills in 24 hours in first day.
- You can use Natazia totally for this month.

It may not be good to use first pill from one brand and remaining from another brand pill pack because the dosage may not fit and may affect the contraceptive efficacy.
