Is Termination Of TMT Due To Fatigue Concerning?

Hi my brother age is 42. He underwent a health check up which included a tmt.it he was asymptomatic through the entire test.tmt showed -1.9mm change during exercise stage 2. He walked till 9min,he reached 85% HR, had MET of 10. Reason for termination is fatigue.what can we call the report as? Please guide me sir

Hi,welcome to HCM.
This test report can be fairly considered normal.An attainment of 85% of maximum heart rate is a good evidence of heart pumping capacity.A score of 10 METS also points to good exercising capacity of heart.An ST change of 1.9mm is not significant for coronary ischemia.Repeat TMT after 6 months.Have a healthy diet and regular physical exercise.Consult your cardiologist for further queries.
