Is Termination Of Pregnancy Advisable During Second Trimester?

Hi I am in my 21 weeks and in my last week ultrasound dr found that my baby is having one kidney only. And also there is a cyst in my umblical cord and my cervix is also shortening to 2.7 . I have lots of complications!! Can I have to terminate my pregnancy in this case ??

Hi,

Actually in India, termination of pregnancy after 20 weeks is not supposed to be legal. It is also risky and would need a major procedure undertaken by an expert gynecologist. Yet, in case of fetal anomaly, with certification of two experts it can be carried out.
