Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am a 52 year old white male diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes. My A1C is approximately 5.9%. I had an EKG on November 6th and the EKG showed sinus bradycardia, a slight intraventricular delay, minor inferior repolarization disturbance, and the report stated "ECG without significant abnormalities". On November 7th, I ran 2 miles in 17 minutes and 30 seconds and felt OK. Question: Based upon above, should I be worried about anything?
Hai, As your Electrocardiogram report indicates no significant changes is observed as your heart show some age oriented changes that too not be worried. your diabetes is perfectly under control HBA1c is with in the normal limits.
everything is perfectly normal as of now. no need to be worried. however kindly keep check your Diabetic status and heart status periodically, because longstanding diabetes will affect the heart and blood vessel. thank you hope i answered your query
