Is The Abortion Successful After Taking Medicine In A Prescribed Way?
How are you doctor? I am 1 month and a week pregnant. I followed an instruction of how to abort with arthrotec which is that you need to put 4 tablets under the tongue every after 3 hours, wait for the to melt and spit the harder part. You have to do that 3 times but after 3 hours which mean 12 tablets of need to b sacked. Just the first 4 tablets I sacked I had cramps after 3 hours I put again 4 tablets under my tongue after I sacked the medicine I started bleeding and a big clot came out followed by small ones. This happen after taken the medicine but now the bleeding has reduced only very little bleed is coming out. Is the abortion successful?

Hello dear,I understand your concern.In my opinion in order to confirm whether abortion is complete or not I would suggest you to go for ultrasound after 14 days from the first day of usage of abortion medicine.Incomplete abortion presents with
irregular or prolonged bleeding.
