Is The Allergy Caused By The Interaction Between Homatropine, Hydrocodone And Albuterol?

I ve been ill for a few days and thought I was getting better, but everyone said i should get checked out, so I went to an urgent care, the doc did basic tests, no blood or urine, said it was nasty flu that has been going around that caused me to have sever bronchitis. He gave me a z-pack, some homatropine syrup with hydrocodone, and albuterol inhaler. I took the first round of all of those about 6 hours ago. I went out with the family to dinner to see if I could hold anything down. I ate a little rice, some guacamole with corn chips, and water. All of the sudden I felt as if i was going to pass out. I stumbled to the restroom and sat on the toilet. Started to sweat profusely for 8-10 min, then like a light switch I felt fine again. Any known drug interactions? I have no known allergies but I also haven t been sick in 20 years so I haven t taken modern meds.

Hi,

There is no documented harmful interactions between homatropine, hydrocodone and albuterol when taken all together. Based on the history you seem to have developed serious allergic reactions apparently caused by consuming guacamole dish. Guacamole is an avocado-based dip spread, or salad recipe which contains high amount of histamines which were responsible for causing severe allergy symptoms, such as itching of your lips, mouth, difficulty in breathing, sweating or shock. Avoid taking avacodo containing recipes in the future.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
