Is The Bloating Normal After First Depo Shot?

I am on the depo shot and going for my 2nd shot next week. I've been really bloated to the point where I look pregnant. I've had 3 periods since the last time I've had sex and I've have been on my period for 17 days straight now. Is the bloating normal or should I be worried about it?

Bloating is quite common after Depot injection. It is due to the action of hormones and it will subside on its own. Nothing much to worry and you can take antacids like Pantoprazole for symptomatic relief. Avoid hot and spicy foods on initial days of Depot shot.
