Is The Diagnosis For Persistent Fever With Nausea Correct?

Hi, may ID ansrwer, your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...I had initially fever for 5 days, for which my dr advised me to take LARIAGO DS.i HAD SIDE EFFECTS LIKE NAUSEA and my fever persisted. Then he had asked me to fo for blood test and then he said its 50:50 and now he has prescribed me FORMIC O 200MG TWICE A DAY. nOW THERES no fever. He had advised to go for the test if fever persists. Is this correct diagnosis.

Your doctor first put LARIAGO DS which is an Anti- Malarial Treatment . I can't understand how he started Anti-malarial treatment without doing any test.

Then he started you on an Antibiotic which is given for bacterial infection . To comment on this treatment I need to know the report of the test. I need to know why your doctor said it's 50:50 .

But overall I am not happy with the kind of treatment .
