Is The Every 5 Years For A Stress Test Accurate?

my husband has had 2 heart attacks and his cardiologist has told him he needs a stress test every 5 years. He is 56, slightly overweight and smokes occasionally. While I know other factors play in to the formula, is the every 5 years for a stress test accurate?

Welcome to Health Care

5 years appears s bit too long
Yearly / if symptomatic, immediately – is a better option, in such situation
