I was pregnant since mid of Aug 2011 but I came to know about it on 6th Oct 2011 when I did pregnancy test at home.As per suggestion from my gynaecologist I started Contraceptive Pills (Krimson) from 29th Aug 2011 for next 21 days for treatment of Poly cystic Ovaries for ovulation as she was not aware of I was already conceived.Bleeding happened on 12-15 Aug and 26 Aug to 2 sep 2011.Doctor did scan and found out fetus is growing in uterus.Kindly suggest if there is any problem to my child growth ?
Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Bleeding in early pregnancy can be due to: 1. Ectopic pregnancy 2. Threatened or missed abortion 3. Bleeding around the foetus( subchorionic haemorrhage) Since the fetus is growing well inside the uterus, the ectopic pregnancy and missed abortion are ruled out. The fetus seems to grow well in uterus, however you need to get a repeat ultrasound done after2 weeks to confirm the fetal growth. Hope you found the answer helpful. Wishing you good health.
