Is The Headache Caused Is Due To The Intake Of Progesterone Tablets?

I just took my first of a 10 day progesterone 100 mg prescription , to be taken once every three months. I have developed a horrendous headache that stated about two hrs. after my dose.
I don't usually suffer from headaches, at all. But I have always reacted to progesterone: in birth control pills of my youth, progesterone creams, and that's a reason my previous doctor put me on this, along with Vivaran ( estrogen with no progesterone). I have hot flashes every 20 minutes if I'm not on Estrogen ( I'm 64).
Headache=progesterone?

Yes!progesterone does cause headache and as you said you have always reacted to progesterone so your severe headache can be due to thisonly.you must tell your doctor about it so that he can change add other medications.
