Is The Indention A Concern If The Patient Has Not Passed Out After Hitting His Head?

I hit my head HARD yesterday on the hatch of my van. It hurt horribly but I was not knocked out. Today there is slight swelling, but a large indention where I hit it. And of course, it is still very sore if I touch it. Is the indention a concern since I did not pass out?

Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
The indentation may not be a problem, but as you hit hard, there could be a head injury, which should be taken care of.
I advise you to consult a neurosurgeon for diagnosis.
You may need to have C.T. scan for diagnosis.
As you are comfortable all the time any thing may not be there but it is necessary to take care to avoid the late reaction.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
