Is The Intake Of Montair LC Kid Safe?

Hi,

My Son is 1.5 yrs old, My ped has advised to give him Montair LC Kid daily for whole winter to increase his immunity against cold.

I am little confused that giving a medicine daily for couple of months without any cold/cough is safe and advisable or not.

Let me explain that your paediatrician is very clever and he prescribed a very nice medicine for your child.
Montair Lc means monteleukast + levoceterizine as these both are most potent antihistamine medicine and very much effective against allergy ( as you son might have allergy due to sudden fall or rise of temperature ) due to certain allergen.
When anti allergic medicine usage , patient will not get allergy , hence patient's immunity will increase .
So you can use this medicine very safely as I am also using this combination for my patient without any side effect.
