Is The Kidney Surgery Related To Diabetes?
one month after having a non-malignant growth removed from my left kidney, removing over half my kidney with the growth, I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. Prior to this kidney surgery, I had no pre-diabetic symptoms. Could there be a connection between the diabetes and my kidney surgery?

Yes it could be because. Surgery itself is a stress, because it causes lot of hormonal variation such as increase in corticosteroids and adrenaline.
It causes increase in the secretion of glucogon which increase the blood sugars.
If you are having some amount of predisposition to diabetes in the genetic aspects and prediabetes then it might cause the blood sugars to go high.
So dont worry it might be due to diabetes..
