Is The Knot In Eye Due To Calcium Deposit?

I was hit in the eye about 6 months ago. Bruising healed. I had a small knot under my eye and now it seems to be getting larger. I am able to move the knot with my finger. Could this be a calcium deposit or not. I feel I need to have this checked. How can this be removed?

Hello,

Where is the exact location of knot?? If it is on lid then possibility of chalazion or stye. It may be a lipoma or small boil until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. Please consult with your ophthalmologist he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
