Is The Nausea And Shaky Feeling Due To Pain Killers?

my husband has been prescribed dihydrocodeine for pain releif following surgery to repair his rotator cuff / shoulder. He takes them at night to combat pain and allow sleep however feels nauseous during the day and has periods of feeling very cold and shaky. Is this caused by the drug?
