Is The Pain Above The Cancer-treated Breast A Side Effect Of Chemotherapy?

Hi, I had a chemotherapy, no radiotherapy, dual mastectomy with reconstruction and now I'm on tamoxifen for about 6 months. The result of mastectomy was good - the doctor said that only single cells of non-invasive tumor have been removed during the operation, the cancer shrunk from 3cm to practically nothing. Ath the moment I started feeling some pain above one of my breast - the other side where the cancer was. The pain is not constant, but the place is tender when I touch this. Could it be a side effect of the operation, chemo or Tamoxifen?

Hi

It is a side effect of surgery.

You can take tablet paracetamol 650 mg twice daily after food for 5 days.

Apply volini gel in the affected area.

Plus i would recommend you to do a bilateral mammography test.

Regards
