Pulmonologist 's  Response
Thanks for your question on HCM.
I can understand your situation and problem.
You are having fibrotic scar due to old healed tuberculosis in past.
So i advice you to consult pulmonologist and get done
1. CT thorax
2. Bronchoscopy and BAL ( Bronchoalveolar lavage ) analysis to rule out active tuberculosis.
CT thorax is far better than chest x ray for the evaluation of fibrotic scar.
Bronchoscopy and BAL analysis is more superior then routine sputum examination to rule out active tuberculosis.
If both are normal and negative for active tuberculosis, then you can argue with visa authority about not having active, infectious tuberculosis and your x ray lesions are only healed, inactive scar lesions.
So consult pulmonologist and discuss all these.
